Delft panorama

Delft enjoys a worldwide reputation due to its connection with Johannes Vermeer, Delft Blue earthenware and the Royal House. Relive its glorious past as you wander along canals, churches, mansions and courtyards. This university town also offers canal tours, museums, markets and many pubs.

Delft and the Royal Family have been closely associated for hundreds of years. It is the city where ‘Father of the Nation’ William of Orange came to live after fleeing Breda in 1572 and where he was assassinated 12 years later. The relationship between Delft and the Royal Family also has a modern edge with New Church being the last resting place for members of the Royal House.

Delft is a 30 minute drive from the Willem-Alexander Baan.
